Last Modified: [4/15/2025]
OutThere is an online, local event board focused on bringing the community together around shared interests. In bringing people together, we want to ensure that OutThere is a safe and respectful space. These Guidelines outline the rules of participating in the OutThere community, including the use of the OutThere mobile application. If you believe that any content or user on OutThere is violating these Guidelines, please contact us at support@outthere.app or through the in-app reporting function. We maintain the right to take any action we deem as necessary to respond to conduct that does not adhere to these Guidelines.
1. No Offensive or Harmful Content
Don't post any events, provide profile information, or create communities that contain offensive images or speech, hate speech, threats, the promotion of violence, nudity, misinformation, or anything harassing or harmful. Keep the tone positive and welcoming.
2. No Spam
No one likes spam. Don't post the same event or community multiple times. If you need to make changes to an event, please update the existing one. OutThere is focused on community gatherings. Events purely promoting businesses, products, or services (e.g., crypto, real estate, MLM, or timeshares) are not allowed.
3. Respect Other User’s Personal Information
If you post an event, you may have access to your attendees personal information (their name and username). Do not share or use this information without the attendee’s consent.
4. No Political or Religious Events
Events where a political or religious agenda is the primary focus are not allowed. Political and religious groups are allowed to post events when their purpose is not primarily political or religious (e.g., charity fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, etc.).
5. Follow Local Laws and Safety Guidelines
If you post an event, you must ensure your event complies with all local laws, safety regulations, and venue policies. You are responsible for the safety of your event attendees and compliance with any applicable laws, regulations, or policies. Do not use OutThere to promote, encourage, or organize any illegal activities.
